Audi A8 Suspension Squeaking Noise and Solution

Hello, I have an Audi A8 2011 with the sport adaptive air suspension. When driving over bumps you could hear a squeaking noise. When driving normal you will not hear anything. I have a warranty on my car 100,000 mile or six-year bumper to bumper. I also have Audi's Car Care. So on Friday I had my regular 45,000-mile service and wanted to fix the issue of the squeaking front suspension. The service department told me that they did not find anything wrong with the suspension, and they could not hear the squeaking noise. So I had to come over and have the technician go for a ride with me over bumps, so they could hear the squeaking noise. Once I stated to go over bumps the technician finally heard the front suspension noise. Audi service department told me they were going to keep the car over night and order the front shock assembly on the passenger side.

Well, they were doing the work. They accidentally broke my front window. After all that work the service department called me to tell me that they have done a test to see if the noise is gone. Well, he said that it was not as bad but still has some noise coming out when going over bumps. So now we are going into the holidays, and I still don't have my car. The service department is going to get the Operation Manager, who is responsible for five dealerships. So now they will still have my car for over one week. I do have a loaner car A4 for the time.



Has anybody had anything similar with your A8? And how did you solve the problem?

Had the same problem, 2012 A8L,turns out the new suspension piece for the sway bars on the 2015 made it go away.
